Although he meets Shinjirou's gaze steadily, he's quietly relieved when Shinjirou decides not to challenge him. It'll happen eventually, he knows, but better for it to happen later on, when he's had more time to learn what makes Shinjirou tick.

In the meantime, he settles down to enjoy the smells wafting out of the kitchen and smiles appreciatively when Shinjirou brings him his milk. "Thank you."
