Seeing Shinjirou's reaction, Jade felt certain that taking Irvin out is the best course of action. Hopefully Shinjirou would be more acclimatized to the situation again once they return.

"Something with chicken," he replies, happy to leave the specifics to Shinjirou. He's an excellent cook.

With that out of the way, Jade doesn't delay in grabbing Irvin's leash and clipping it to his collar. The dog had calmed down by then, allowing Jade to attach the lead with minimal fuss. "I'll be back in an hour or so. There's a bookshop on the way. Would you like something?"

Shinjirou should have more free time from now on; Jade needs something to keep him busy.
