It's around then that Jade returns, Irvin panting happily beside him and a book under one arm. It was the most boring one he could "find": a classical novel he had picked randomly off the shelf.
A quick inspection shows that the house had been cleaned (although it had already been clean this morning), and the aroma of frying chicken tells him that Shinjirou is most likely in the kitchen. He unclips the leash from Irvin's collar and hangs it up. To his surprise, the dog stays with him, following at his heels as he goes to find Shinjirou.
"You've been busy," he comments once he sees him. He holds up the book. "Is this alright?"
