When Shinjirou first begins to shift around, Jade thinks he's having a bad dream. But it just keeps going, and Jade decides he must be awake, maybe struggling to get into a comfortable position.

But no. His unease grows, sharpening and solidifying into a burst of concern when Shinjirou suddenly jerks up. Carefully, Jade pulls himself up as well, until he's half-sitting and half-lying down, maintaining his usual unconcerned air.
