His behaviour this morning is a marked change from the first time Jade had him serve a guest: gone is the violence, the instability, the crippling self-doubt (although Jade wouldn't be surprised if some of that still remains). Jade is pleased with their progress, but Shinjirou is still keeping secrets, and Jade is obliged to try and pry it out of him.
