Sometimes he forgets just how young Shinjirou is, but then he tugs on his sleeve like a nervous child, and Jade remembers. He makes a considering noise as he turns over Shinjirou's words in his mind. There's so much self-loathing there, Jade doesn't know if he could help, or if he even should, when this is part of Shinjirou's repentance. All he knows is that Shinjirou can't last very long like this.
